The head dissipated slowly leaving brussels lace stranded on the glass. The aroma was sweet yet sour, both floral and fruity. The taste was soft and refreshing but nothing memorable or worth trying again. The carbonation hits you first followed by little else. Darkover (1312), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Had on 7/30/2001. Aroma is a fresh hop scent that seems to have come from dry hopping. Color is a medium gold with very good carbonation and head. Taste is mild with a heavy metallic taste. Starting with a smooth medium body it goes down easy. There isn’t much malt flavor in it and as the finish comes on with a good bitterness the hop flavor turns to a strong metallic taste. I can drink it but the only things about it that are like a Pale Ale are the aroma and the bitterness. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Fruity, slightly caramelly nose with a hint of malt. Nise rounded finish on the bready malty side. Good session brew. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Nice clearish honey gold pour to it, with a medium white head. Smell is of fruity hops, with a sweet piney touch to it as well. Smell turns somewhat towards honey soaked graininess as it warms. Taste included a nice amount of sweetness initially with a perfectly carbonated good crisp bit to it. Refreshing, and has a good sweet backing with a perfect amount of hops in the finish for a pale, I think. Definitely better than average, but not the most robust flavor. Still, quite better than average for the style, and one I wish were available locally. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
