| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2007 A good, crisp pale ale that I sampled in a pint glass. The color was a cloudy medium honey-gold with a big, foamy and bubbly white head. The aroma was mostly citrus and pine hops, with some caramel malt for balance, and maybe a touch of cereal. A moderately bitter taste with some underlying sourness; not a sweet beer at all. It was smooth and full-bodied, with a drying effect at the end. The carbonation was average, but there was a pleasant fizzyness on the palate. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 29, 2007 pours a honey color with a two finger fluffy off white head. aroma is hops, malt, and a little medicine or band-aid like. has a medium body with lacing that follows the liquid and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with some orange peel and pine. has a somewhat oily mouth-feel, but the medicine/ band-aid taste is a little annoying. has a small dry hop aftertaste and i would say this is an average apa there is definitely better out there. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2007 Clear amber orange with a moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, various fruits. Medium to light body, lightly bitter finish. Just like too many other APAs out there. It’s well made but nothing really sticks out. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2007 A citrus aroma accompanied from metallic notes which was odd considering it was on draft. Pours gold and has nice initialy mild citrus flavor followed by a nice balancing bready maltiness. Pretty dry and crisp on the palate. Very thirst quenching. A session ale. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

Minimal pale ale aroma, some hops, smells kind of berry like. Taste is fruity, more berry and flower, light malt, bready. Finishes dry and a little bitter. Good summer beer, a little light for this style. drawde (115), San Francisco, California, USA

[Tasted next to a Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale]
The Poleeko is much lighter in color, and citrusy sweet in flavor. The Mirror Pond has more malt backbone and a full bodied fruity flavor. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
