Hoppy but a lifeless aroma of lemon-peels, graoefruit and hay. flavour of grapefruit and green hops. The body is really thin and the malt is quite hard to detct. Short grapefruity finish. It has that wierd coppery/metallic wierd grainy malty flavor to pretty much all thier beers. This one is certainly no exception. Pours a very light amber- more of a light copper color with a pretty decent head. Aroma is metallic and earthy with hops and a little bit of flowery hops in there as it warms. Flavor is lightly malty, light biscuit, some metallic hints, hoppy, a little bitter in the end. Finishes crisp and dry with a metallic aftertaste. Reminds me of a pocono pale ale overall. It’s light enough to serve as a refreshing summer session beer. Bit overpriced though for what it is. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

A poured a clear golden color with a nice white head that seemed to have good retention. A nice mlaty aroma. AlabastorJones (765), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2005 Couleur ambrée aux reflets rougeâtres. Bouteille au Moan And Dove, 21 Mai 2005. Suttree (2740), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2005 Copper, big firm rocky head. Peppery, smoky aroma. Spicy, resiny hop flavors dominate. Crisp and quenching. This is an easy drinking and satisfying brew. I like it. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2005 Bottle. Pours an ever so slightly hazy golden/light orange/yellow. Large bubbles sat on the bottom of the beer and broke away a handful at a time. Head fell to a thin layer of lace. Aroma is very mild citrus hops, very clean to start with, and ended a little metallic. Flavor is a pleasant grapefruit, lemon, soap mix, nice honey suckle subtle sweetness, mild the hops are but also somewhat sharp on the palate, and also finishes with a metallic twang. No prominent malt detected. Altogether quite bland, much like a lawnmower beer with a lemon in it. Though I not complaining about drinking this on a hot day. Body is quite thin and bubbly on the tongue. Drinability is medium/high. “Really did not dig the aroma, but flavor is very nice if you want a light beer with some APA flavor.”
