Light citrus hop aroma, backed by a hint of sweet wine. Flavor is sweet and lightly malty, though rather watery. Dry, grassy hops. Drinkable but nothing special SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Bottle. Pours hazy amber-gold with a small white head that diminishes mostly and leaves a trace of lacing. Pleasing aroma, with light caramelly malt sweetess and fresh hop citrus notes. Nice balanced flavor with a good hop bite. Light to medium body and crispy carbonation. Not a great pale ale but good with the potential to be a nice session brew. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Nice clean fresh aroma of citrus.
Flavor is great as are all Anderson valley beers that I have had.
I could have done without the metalic finish that this one had though.
