Golden-brown, honey-like color with a medium-thick, white head. Smells of citrus lemon and pineapple - refreshingly fruity. Taste is all hops, grassy, pinecones and pineapple. Lots of carbonation and biting tongue flavors. Solid beer, malt is a bit watery.

Pours a pale golden color. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a slighty hoppy presence. Flavor is dominated by hops. Somewhat piney and citric as well. Also has a hint of sweetness. Very drinkable brew.

Aroma is faint and dull. Light yellow/light orange hue with a small cloudy haze and absoutely no head. This taste very flat to me and only flavor im getting is a cold flat bitterness across my tongue. Must be a old pint. Will re-rate later. Now if only i could find a place that still carries it.

Bottled. Golden colour, creamy head. Appley nose with some grass. Sweet with light body and lightly rounded mouthfeel. Lightly orangey finish with medium bitterness. I am getting increasingly underwhelmed by Anderson Valley’s products, which I used to love. This beer I both could, and intend to, live without in the future.

Ahh, hops. How I’ve missed your dominating character in some of my more recent rates. I promise I’ll never leave you this long again. Slight toasted malt. Spicy hops. Finish could have a bit more malt to balance out the bitter grapefruit. Not great but my first IPA in too long.

Farm fresh grassy and pine aroma. Clear light golden in color. Crispy, leafy hop flavor - very tangy and citric. Lingers nicely. Light in body and tingly on the tongue. This beer is a pale ale winner.
