Pour is only slightly hazed golden, active carbonation creates pretty settling that builds up a 2 inch white head. Head is lasting, eventually leaves behind bahl lacing. Aroma of bitter orange rind citrus, baking cookie sweet malt behind that. Nice balance between the two. Taste is more of the citrus hop bitterness out of the gate, followed by the malt which has more grainy bread character versus the sweet of the nose. Some more bitterness in the finish, this time around its more of a resin taste. Palate is on the thinner side of medium, brief bitter finish, active carbonation. Overall, clean, drinkable beer with nice hop bitterness. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA

Flavor starts off with caramel malts and finishes bitter with the pine hops. Flavor lingers a little. An okay brew. Nebulor (109), , California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Pours a gold color with a copper hue and lots of action and suspended sediment also had an inch high white head and lacing.
Has a slight caramel malt smell with some hop esters in the background.
Has a sweet tea (eyewater) taste with some caramel and grapefruit hops through to the finish.
Very drinkable due to the balance as a session beer or even a session starter. Rciesla (3670), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Very nice fruity hop aroma, slightly grassy. Refreshing sweet malt and fruity hops, on the lighter side but not in a bad way. I really liked this-- very sessionable. fonefan (11640), VestJylland, Denmark
