A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. A pleasant floral hops, herbal and smooth, with light caramel. In mouth, a fresh malt with crisp hops, chalky notes. Medium bodied. Refreshing beer. Tasted April 2007.

A Mes rate: bottle at GBBF.
Bright gold with a good white head. Fruity hop aroma with some grain in the background and a slight sour edge to it. Similar flavour. Slightly chalky but the fruit notes are really good. Lovely and dry. Decent stuff.

Bottle from GBBF 08. Deep gold, lasting off white head. Attractive light grapefruit hop aroma. Very faint cheddar cheese. Drinkable in the mouth, a little hard on the swallow. Decent malts. Some toffee, bit of butter. Finish has some floral PNW hops, but not overly bitter. Maybe a little too buttery. Hops are nice. Yep, fine.

Bottle, at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, moderate head. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Pleasant hoppy flavour but not overdone, well balanced.

Bottle at GBBF ’08. Gold. Sweet nettly aroma. Lots of fizz but low on taste. A little bitterness. Rather an improbable beer. Improbable? That’s what I wrote, and I don’t now really understand what I meant, though it seemed perfectly clear at the time.

Bottle... Poured vibrant, orange with a big, white head that stayed on the surface of the beer for the whole drink. Aroma is spicy with some hops and yeast. Palate swarmed the mouth with great floral hop flavors and earthy grains and malt. Really tasty brew.

Hazy orange-yellow with a large slowly fading white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy and floral hops, bread and something vegetal. Taste is kind of “vegetallic” and also has caramel, citrus and floral hop qualities to it. Finishes citrus bitter and vegetal with a peppery quality to it. Body is a little oily.
