Taste is some citrus and a good bitterness, good malting for drinkability. Bit above average mouthfeel. A hint of acid in the aftertaste, but that is tolerable.Nice balance Ughsmash (4052), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of whitish head. The aroma picked up honey and toasted pale malts accented by some pine, earth, and grapefruit.. semi-sweet with a spicy overall character. The flavor was led by spicy pine and citrusy bitterness over a base of sweet toffee and bready malts.. residual sugars, pine, and citrus bitterness on the finish.. some of the hops seemed a bit degraded, but not that bad. Light-medium bodied with a spicy presence from the hops on the palate.. didn’t quite flow right between the hops and the grainy sugars. Frovigalning (456), , Sweden

Loose, sudsy white head sticks around for a while after a massive, surging, creamy white head blows out the top of the glass. Loose eggy-looking lace. Nice big piney nose with apricot undertones. Creamy medium body, bit of crispness to it thanks to the carb. Caramel, a bit of dough, and plenty of pine and apricot on the mid-palate. Refreshing and drinkable. Nice APA. bsjay (54), Oregon, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Can from Scrizzz. Thanks, Clint! Pours a semi-dense amber with a lively body and a healthy yet hollow white head. Nose is sweet and toasted bread with bits of malty orange and roasted nut rounded out with buttery popcorn. Flavor is a hoppy, toasted nut with roasted butter in the finish, along with notes of sweetish corn flakes and bready fruit. Nice, lingering finish. Overall, a very nice and approachable pale. thornecb (1795), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
