About 5.5 years ago i began rating beer at the tender young age of 18. The first beer i rated was an Anderson Valley Winter Solstice with some wings at Mad Mex in Mt. Lebo. Anyway, who would have thought it would get to 500 soo quickly? This beer itself was very flavorful, smooth and refreshing. It had a hint of spice but nothing overpowering. Great beer and i look forward to hitting my next milestone of 1000. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Yet another fine offering from Boonville. Murky amber color with a diminishing head and minimal lacing. Malty aroma with hints of caramel, sugary bread and tobacco. A fair amount of spices and fruits as well. Drinkable with a light to medium body, surprisingly creamy and filling. Flavor is a great jumble of malts, spices and hops. Creamy caramel and toffee with a ever so slight red wine flavor. Sweet, fruity spices and hints of strawberry and orange. Vanilla and cream to boot. Nice summer quencher, very satisfying. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Pale, bland notes of corn and wheat, someone stale but still sharp. Soft wheat and crackers, interrupted by stinking sweet corn and smelly dough. Not really going anywhere... dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Much darker in color than expected. It really has a creamsicle type flavor to it but without the fruit. A bit sweet in the finish, sugary, pretty nice. AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Pours dark amber in color with no head forming on the pour. Smell is slightly spicy and very fainlty hopped. Not much going on in the taste. Some fruity flavors, very weak hops. This is a pretty weak flavored beer. Very muted and watered down. Not a whole lot going on here. I’ll wait for the Winter Solstice to come out. Arayaga2 (994), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Dark copper color with a dense tan head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and citrusy hops. Taste is a bit watery with a solid malty finish. Not bad, and certainly better than I expected. $2/12oz bhops (334), Dallas, Texas, USA

Somehow the bartender knew I was running through all the beers offered at the restaurant. I actually enjoyed this beer but I love a good cream soda. Very creamy mouthfeel, and that’s it’s best feature, but good malty flavors to match. troopie (906), USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Bottle Poured deep copper with thin white head. Faing malt aroma. Flavour of cream soda, a little malt and more cream soda. Finish like a little malt and more cream soda. I wonder if this could be mixed with ouzo to make a Rhodesian sewage, but it is not outstanding as a beer.
