Commercial Description:
This copper colored ale is a silky, creamy dream. It’s malty, very mildly hopped, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. A cool beer for the heat, whatever your latitude!

Golden yellow in color with a thin head. This had a light malt aroma very light with the hops. This was a good beer to start the day off with. Great hot weather beer. This was light crisp and easy to drink. Good Ale.

Never can expect too much out of a cream ale, but I thought it was pretty good. I had it served fairly warm, But poured reddish amber with a small head. Aroma was nutty and kind of fruity, hints of rose petals and caramel. Flavor was slightly tart, mostly sweet. Not bad.

Anderson Valley Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema 12 oz bottle Moderate pour in a shaker Recent brewing, enjoyed 07/07 Poured a dark orange amber with a beige semi-frothy somewhat lasting head. Smelt of moderate oranges, caramel, toasted grain. Taste was upfront strong bitter toasted grain and grassy hops and moderate orange sweet and sour followed by more of the same, with a flowery yeast kick and a diminished orange sweet and sour, on an average length finish. Palate was light to medium bodied, slightly creamy and effervescent. Overall, a summer beer that carries a fresh orange taste. On the darker side, which makes it even more intriguing. Very cool label with the bears with antlers and sunglasses. Cryptic writing under the cap:"Chipmunk the heelch of the Boont steinbier". Huh? Hilarious. I’m happy with this one, except the price ($11.99/6pk).

12oz. Bottle: Odd sweet aroma. Smells like candy corn. Also hints of pine hops, butterscotch, and caramel malts. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Medium sweet flavor. Tastes of buttermilk biscuit, butterscotch, and corn. Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Strange creamy finish. Overall, not a fan.

12oz bottle from Half Time in Poughkeepsie. I love all AVB beers . . except this one. This has one dimensional taste of malt. WAYYY too sweet. I literally threw away the rest of the 6-pack.

Amber appearance. Sweet aroma with a creamy vanilla flavor to it. I wanted to like this brew, but the more I drank, the less I liked of the one dimensional flavor. My lowest rated Anderson Valley beer to date.

Pours a clear reddish amber with yellow..ish head. Nose is sweet, slightly citrusy, and some vanilla. Interesting flavor... sweet cream, pineapple, vanilla, and a hint of spice. Creamy mouthfeel. It’s actually pretty good.

Pours a murky amber with a smallish off-white head. The lacing was minimal on the side of the pilsner glass. The scent was of some malt, fruit, lemons and vanilla. The taste was a little flat, without much of a mouthfeel. There was a smooth end to the beer, when the hints of vanilla, lemon and spice started to play a bit.
