This one is very drinkable but not a high quality beer. It is more like cream soda crossed with beer. Reminds me of a beerfrom college, Gennesee Cream Ale. Thumbs up on a warm day. durhambeer (1240), Durham, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Bottle from Sam’s. Pours clear copper with thin off-white head. Smells of caramel, toffee, sugar, mild vanilla. Toasted coconut? Slight tea-like notes. Reminds me of Winter Solstice without all the spice. Taste is tough. Very sweet, creamy, and kinda like candy corn. Weird in a good but mostly bad way. Not sure if I’ll drink this whole bottle. WakeandBake (438), Greenville, Michigan, USA

A dirty copper color pour with a thin white head, light carbonation , a little spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel ,with light floral and honey notes. Flavor is malty, caramel, toffee, light citrus ,some floral hps and a hint of some sort of spice , medium body , with a smooth mouthfeel ,with a sweet sticky finish, an easy drinker but not what I was looking for on a hot Summer day Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2009 12 oz bottle from my buddy Ty’s fridge. Pretty sweet, since I doubt I ever would have purchased this on my own. Deep amber pour, much darker than I was expecting. Moderate white head. Aroma of caramel and cream. Flavor is much the same, there’s a very mild citrus hop note, but it’s buried under the cream. Mouthfeel is as creamy as you’d expect from the name. This is really not my thing at all, but I didn’t find it awful. jcr (1190), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Bottle. Medium to dark amber body, clear. Off-white, diminishing fizzy head. Mild nose of malty caramel, toffee, grain, sugar candy and Coke. Slight hint of vinegar. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and very lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet with an slight astringency. Medium body with a watery texture that turns creamy. Moderate carbonation. Like drinking a sweet soft drink without the fizz, especially red pop. Tastes of cotton candy and cherry. No thanks. skoll (149), Traverse City, Michigan, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer poured the expected color of just slightly darker than a pale ale, with a white head. Given the quality of Anderson Valley’s Winter Solstice, I was interested in trying this beer. The nose led me to realize what a sham it truly was. The nose was an off-putting combination of nothing and the slightest bit of staled malt. The palate tasted of canned corn, rice, and fizz. Ghastly. DigitalMan (119), Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2009 On tap. Run-of-the-mill but fine aroma, somewhat dark appearance. Nice, smooth malty and slightly hoppy flavor, but overall somewhat mild. I did drink it very quickly, so it’s definitely "drinkable".
