clear amber, thin beige head, sweet fruity and spicy, only a hint of the cinamon, spices are well blended and hard to pick out which makes for a really nice profile

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Pours a murky reddish brown with a reddish beige head. Aroma is maple syrup, cherries, and a pancakey bready kind of thing. Flavor is very sweet. Very fruity flavors come out in this one. Lots of cherries and plums. A little maple or nutmeg? A small amout of bitterness comes through as it warms. Pretty hearty and rich brew, but a pretty tasty brew too. badlizard (2345), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Appearance: Pours a reddish-amber body with a tight, thin cap of small bubbles that faded fast.
Smell: Fruity, spicy aroma of orange, nutmeg, almond paste, and cinnamon.
Taste: A variety of flavors upfront - light caramel, juicy oranges, and a shot of amaretto make for an overall tangy taste. Finishes sweet, with the taste of toffee leading up to an enduring cinnamon, cocoa powder aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body, but there’s definitely a creaminess to it.
Drinkability: Clearly, this is one of the lighter winter seasonals available, both in regards to body and spiciness. Very drinkable. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2007 Hazy orange-amber color reminds me of cider. Aroma is relatively light and sweet--a good dose of caramel in there...Decent head that dissipates fairly quickly. Nice malty-sweet wave dominates early, followed by a brighter, tangier fruitiness and a spicy and mild hop-dry finish OdinUSMC (7), Poquoson, Virginia, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 22, 2007 At first it seems like a random pilsner deceptivly hidden in a six dollar bottle. But then the finish comes which is so clean and it’s almost sanitary. Then because it was so razor clean you go back for seconds (and because you dropped 6 bucks on it) and the array of flavors floats out. Like running backward through your mothers spice rack, it’s all in there. Good for everything. Good way to start the night. Good way to drink all night forget your name by sunrise. Then, even good with waffle house. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
