I had to clean my own room and clean the bathroom and my parents and more. His maid would raid the liquor, so his parents had to lock it up. Then she went for the vanilla extract because it had alcohol in it. I just couldn’t imagine.
What was I talking about? Oh yeah, drinking vanilla extract. Sammy (4049), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Pours hazy medium amber with a thin head. Smells very sweet almost artificial caramel candy like. Flavor is the same way- I cnat depict the sweetness that comes from this beer. Very wierd. Lots of malt sweetness followed by a bit of hops in the end. Ok I guess. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2005 2004. Deep rusty-amber body with a dense load of fine, dark particles and a frothy beige head. Aroma of vanilla, cherries, caramel, and mild warm spice. Flavor of fruity malt, vanilla extract, toasted nuts, caramel and toffee (especially in the finish). Medium sweet with mild bitterness and acidity. Besides the apparent vanilla, the spicing is very subtle and difficult to pinpoint, which is the mark of a good spice beer. Smooth, medium body. Good winter seasonal. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA

A nice example of skillful spicing. I could drink more of this, and I WANT to...That’s more than I could say about most winter beers I’ve had in the last year. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 5, 2005 This poured a medium amber with traces of head. The aroma is malty with maraschino cherries and vanilla. The taste is strong vanilla at first with bread crust. There is also a hint of caramel and apple skins. Maybe a hint of nutmeg. This is a nice winter warmer. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
