| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2005 From a bottle: pours a clear copper with reddish tinting ’round the edge. Initially small creamy head. Hint of vanilla in the aroma. Mouthfeel is on the light side with moderate carbonation. Taste is predominately nutty vanilla. Maybe my taste buds are shot because I couldn’t detect much "spice" in this brew.
Decenly drinkable.. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2005 Golden orange, just like an english ale, but with an off-white, diminishing head. Aromas are orange, nuts, and cider. Smooth and full, quaffable, and tasty, yet substantial with its alcohol, hop, and spice flavors. Not an especially balanced winter warmer. Fresh and intriguing, however.
