Feb 24, 2008 Bomber from Hi-Time. Mild caramel aroma with hints of yeast spice and belgian candi. Blood orange tinged amber color with a white head that flattens and minimally laces. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavors are light stone fruit, caramel, clove, yeast, and something like hop? Finish is not dry, but not overly sweet either. Except for the caramel I’d say this is edging towards a tripel. Whichever, it is a drink that is undeniably belgian.

Jan 15, 2008 on tap-pours a disappearing light tan head and copper color. Aroma is very mild medium malt-(caramel?). taste is medium/dark malt-molasses/licorice, dark fruit-cherry/raisin, rock candy, yeast, some background hops bite. Medium body.

Aug 18, 2007 Draft @ Eclectic Cafe in North Hollywood, CA. Not much aroma. Initial reaction was too sweet, but grew on me and I had a second. Nothing close to real Belgian but not bad for SoCal...
