This starts out w/ the yeasty & estery, but the flavor stops and it finishes pretty blandly.

Jul 12, 2009 Sample from tap. Clear gold/yellow color, fizzy white head. Brown bananas, pepper, slight lemon flavor, and yeast. also the alchohol comes out a little.

Jun 28, 2009 Tasted at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Bright palate, bitter banana estery taste and aroma.

Jan 18, 2009 22oz bottle from the brewery. One of the better Angel City beers I’ve tried. Pours a cloudy chocolate brown with some sediment. Fruity nose with some Belgian yeast in there as well. This brew needs to sit for a while if you pick one up any time soon, could age into a great beer.
