Golden amber color, small white head. Fruity hoppy, a bit caramelly. Birch woody, peach fruity, alcoholic, some sweetness. Not balanced. Harsh. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Oct 10, 2009 Bottled@SBWF. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some wood, biscuits and mild notes of herbs. Flavour is wood, grass, some caramel malts, bready malts as well as some pleasant herbal and resiny notes. Dry and rather bitter finish. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 27, 2009 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear deep golden, small coarse head. Fruity with salty resiny hops. Sweetish with clean malt covered in syrup. Honey roled in grass and resin. Rather sharp and primitive. JohnnyJ (1282), Carlsbad, California, USA Jul 12, 2009 Sampled from tap. Clear yellow pour, white head. Caramel malt, piney hops, metalic flavor, and floral. It’s okay, I little strong for a pale. Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Jun 29, 2009 Botltle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Pours copper with a nice white head. Smells of earth, floral. Tastes of sweet pine, resin, some dry malt. Enjoyable. badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 28, 2009 Tasted at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Earthy phenolic aroma. Nice caramel and mild hoppy taste. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Apr 6, 2009 A strongly bitter and malty beer. Not quite enough citrus for my liking - more on the harsh bitter finish than the sticky pine. Orange in color. Drinkable because it’s a bigger beer than some of their other offerings. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA Mar 8, 2009 Clear golden hue with a small white had that is mostly diminishing.
Aroma has some yeast, hops, some alcohol, citrus, and old rusty metal in it - weirdly enough.
Flavor is of barley, yeast, and a tad alcoholic, but not much.
Light mouthfeel with lively carbonation.
Not the best beer!
