Pours a clear golden hue. Very nice malt and smooth hop presence. Chewy biscut flavor with cool crisp finish, a good choice to chase away the up and coming hot days of summer

Bomber. Aromas of pale malt, honey? and noble hops. Golden color with a decent white head that left pretty fast. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt, still a hint of honey?, and enough grassy hop to really balance out the sweetness. Finish is decently bitter. Except for the extra sweetness artifact, it fits the syle well.

Bottle from Hi-Time Wine. Medium golden color upon pouring. A hint of orange too. Aroma is very bready. Some graininess as well. Very malty brew. Not too tough to drink. Seems a little heavy handed to me, for the style.

08-Jul-07 (22 oz bottle: $2.99 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) The aroma of sweet biscuits draped in honey, and the notable lack of hops immediately hints that, contrary to the label, this is not going to be a "crisp lager." The malt has a very bready flavor with low-to-medium sweetness, and the very mild hop flavor and bitterness is all but lost. The strong breadiness totally dominates the finish. Fairly heavy body for a pilsener, and carbonation is far too soft for the style as well. Without much in the way of hop bitterness, the bready malts really weigh down the beer, giving it a stale mouthfeel and further robbing it of any hope of the promised crispness. Dark-golden in color and hazy from a flurry of visible particles, the appearance is further marred by a small and very short-lived, off-white head that fully dissipates and leaves no lacing. Overall, it’s drinkable, but for a pilsener, it’s well below average and thus not recommended.
