Dec 20, 2009 On tap at Spring Street Smokehouse. Black with a frothy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, dark malts and alcohol. Taste is the same and pretty full-bodied. Nice drinkable strong stout.

Jun 27, 2009 Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown shine under a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, soy sauce, coffee, and some alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, soy sauce, roasted malt, and a good deal of alcohol, that tickles the tongue, the finish is dry, roasted, and bitter.

Dec 2, 2009 Bomber poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lasting tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, carmel, vanilla, roasted malt, dark fruit and licorice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of dark chocolate, carmel, roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit, light vanilla and light pepper with a smooth dry lightly warming lingering fruity finish. This beer really opens up as it warms. Very tasty!

Apr 6, 2009 Oh man - a massive 10% beer. Rich in flavor and finish. Strong smoky rich flavor - burnt toast and faint alcohol notes. Coats the inside of your mouth, coffee and chocolate tones. Incredibly chewy and complex. Bravo AC.

Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours almost pitch black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is hardroasted malt and coffeeish. Roasted sweet malt flavour. Caramel lingering note to the roasted malt. Goes slight dryer towards the finish with a nice lingering hoppy and caramel mixed flavour.

Oct 25, 2009 0.65 l bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Black color. Thick sweet aroma with coffee and vanilla. Thick roasty flavor with coffee, dark fruits, licorice and hint of oak. Smooth and warming palave. Tasty smooth stout.

Sep 12, 2009 Bottled @ 10%. Black on the pour with a small brownish head. Malty aroma with a good deal of chocolate. Some roastiness as well. A little hot. Good roasted malts and coffee bitterness. Hops seem to be present as well. Pretty solid impy. Good buy at 3 bucks a bomber.

Pitch black color, small brown ale. Roasted-licorice, bourbon nose. Smooth oily mouthfeel. Lots of whisky, coffee beans, roasted malts. Warming, lots of alcohol. Interesting.
