Dec 10, 2008 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy yellowish-gloden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of cloves, bananas, lighter wheat, and lighter yeastiness. Not a bad smelling hefe. Tastes of wheat, cloves, bananas, and some citrus. The tastes were a little bit of a let down vs the aromas - they just did not seem to work well together.

Jan 15, 2008 on tap-pours a retaining white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is lemon, clove? Taste is fermented/tart lemon, wheat, secondary spice/grass hops, yeast. Occasional.

Jan 25, 2006 Hazy yellow with a rather modest head for the style, it’s got a soft wheat aroma with faint banana scents and a light touch of clove. The latter two come out slightly more in the taste with the addition of a lemon twist. May 24, 2006 Bottle: Pours a muddy brown/orange color with no head. The nose is tart and sour with some rotten fruit/banana and various malty smells. The flavor is also very tart and sour, nearly a lambic. If I think of it another way, it’s not nearly as nasty, but it says right on the bottle "German Hefeweizen". Sorry, no dice for me.

Feb 23, 2008 Bomber at wine frig temperature. Aromas of wheat, clove and banana. Hazy orange gold color and a white head that flattened rapidly. Medium body with mild, creamy carbonation. Flavors of banana, wheat and clove. Enough spice to tingle. It is one of the better, closer to the style, hefes that I can recall. The finish has all the flavors plus a touch of orange/lemon citrus. I’d suggest this not be served overly cold.

Apr 1, 2006 This German Hefeweizen pours a cloudy yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is bready, yeasty, with a distinct spicy banana and clove finish. A medium bodied German Hefeweizen. Malts are fruity, sweet, bready, with a distinct banana and clove. Touch of spicy hops. Smooth taste. Nice bright carbonation. Mouthfeel is fluffy. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Aug 10, 2009 A $3.49 bomber I am not too hopeful for. Pours with a very minimal, quick to fade white head over a murky yellow body. Aroma of vanilla, bubblegum, caramel, banana, maraschino cherry, bitter hops and wheat. Taste is bland wheat, and mild hop flavors, with a plastic note and a ton of yeast based esters. Kind of boring. Medium viscosity, with kind of sharp bubbles. Mediocre.

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Spice and wheat aroma. Sweet malt flavor with wheat, spice, light citrus, and light bubblegum. Medium body. Banana, spice, bubblegum, and sweet malt linger.
