badgerben (2990), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Oct 14, 2004 Updated: Apr 12, 2008 American Beer #500. Hazy yellow color with little head. Dry hoppy aroma. Citrus and hops in the taste, but well balanced with some malt. Not a bad pale.
StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jun 5, 2005 Looks like I’ll be the one to put this on the map. Translucent orange with no head. Aroma is sweet honey and lemon grass underlined with smells from a laundromat. Watery first impression. Watery finish. Hops pop-up in the middle and then are washed away. Other flavors consist of resin, spring rain and mowed grass. Boo. brewblackhole (1220), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Jan 16, 2005 Soft but distinct hop aroma, hop dominated taste with a little citrus and malt in the aftertaste, finished nicely.Very nice pale ale, perhaps the best I,ve tasted from a Wisconsin brewer, could use just a touch more malt to be up there with the big guys. robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Oct 14, 2004 Cloudy Yellow Coloring. Citrus, Hops and Enough Malt to Keep it From Being too Overpowering. Not a Bad Brew, but Was Hoping for More Given the Name. DavidP (1698), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 1, 2004 Hazy orange-tan body, soapy white head. Flavor is low on sweetness, but pretty high on biting, resinous hops. Bitter grapefruit rind and some brown sugar finishing with those spicy, stemmy hops. Sweet grapefruit aroma.
