Fin (2164), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jan 25, 2006 Loved this, very light in colour, hoppy and spicy and wonderfully moreish. Ok so it was a little heavy on the sweet side but I don’t think this detracted from what is a very addictive beer.
fonefan (4328), Ulfborg, Denmark Sep 6, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, apple, honey, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. kook (2035), Perth, Western Australia, Australia May 19, 2006 Cask @ Ealing BF 06: Golden clear in colour. Short white head. Mild spice in the nose. Quite dry in flavour. A bit estery and peppery but balanced. Interesting english take on a tripel. Joeh (1892), Buckinghamshire, England May 12, 2006 Cask Conditioned at Ealing Beer on Broadway Festival, 2006. Clear pale gold. Floral hop aroma. Sweet malts balanced by some hops a touch of spice and noticeable alcohol. This is quite nice but I don’t think it’s really to style. Clear golden and strong in alcohol with a fruity aroma. Slightly bitter dry malt finish. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 7, 2006 [Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. Both the aroma and flavors are sweet malty with notes of alcohol and metal - the metal probably stemming from the alcohol. Too simple.
