On draught during Great Taste of Midwest 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear copper amber color brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring and minimal lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, a hint of citrus and grassy hops, some roasted nuts and a touch of crystal hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors that is more of a hybrid between an Irish red and brown ales. Finish is light, crisp with a hint of grassy hops that quickly disappear.
