Light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, average carbonation, astringent, not bad for a macro. kfarrnd (112), Oldsmar, Florida, USA

Poured out a decent boldly colored yellow, at least compared to Bud and Bud light, with very little head. Aroma is slightly skunky, with some traces of malt. Flavor is about the same, a little malt which is seeminlgy rare for a Bud product, with some sour grain and bitter aftertaste. A little thin on the palate, but not a disaster. If I was in the mood for a Heineken, I’d drink Heineken instead, but if I’m faced with a lineup of Bud products this would probably win. Ritterkreuz (179), Seneca Falls, New York, USA

Light yellow color, little flavor though slightly malty or grainy. Certainly better than Budweiser, and while not objectionable it is nothing special. I kind of like it in the same way I like a Honda Civic - it’s okay.
Was this what was once sold as "World Select"? That’s what I thought I was buying until I got home and noticed it was "World Lager". Seems to be the same thing, with less confusion between it and "Budweiser Select". Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 22, 2005 Pale lager. Yeah, it’s pale, a slight golden color to it, but very watery looking. Head was very short lived. No real aroma to it. A Difficult to describe the flavor, it is rather bland and mediocre. I do not expect to purchse this and most MegaBrews actually have more flavor. Very disappointing, enough so that I would say that those top brewmasters must not have been able to agree on anything. ehhdayton (1113), USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 22, 2005 World Select has a slight grainy aroma. The color is a light goldent with a short lasting white head. There is some slight bitterness. The aftertaste is short and not much body. smeltfisher (40), Mississippi, USA

Nope. bigred52387 (1), USA does not count | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 6, 2005 Not much going on with this beer. Thin foamy head, soda-like carbonation. Highly dissappointed, but pretty bottle!
