So once you get over that you paid twice as much for the same thing, it does maybe have just a little more flavor and just a tiny bit more hops. Not worth the price. Probably about as good as it gets from Anheuser Busch, which doesn’t really say much. stephenhall22 (3), West Chester, Ohio, USA does not count | 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Feb 16, 2005 One word can describe this beer...shunky. I thought having the name World Select, it might actually taste decent but I was wrong and down 7 bucks for the 6 pack. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Feb 5, 2005 Aluminum bottle. Yellow golden golor. Just off-white colored head. Corn sweet aroma. Flavor is definately different from Regular Bud. Not that it is better. Perhaps a little smoother. A touch more hops are present. Not exactly world-class. erod61 (31), Bangor WI, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 3, 2005 I tried this ’cause it was marked down to $2.99 a six and I was curious. It’s my firm belief that more dollars were put into the pretty printed bottle than into the beer itself. What I found inside was another expected dissapointment along the lines of Amber Bock. Sour and thin and the only taste thats there is bad. Don’t waste your time. Arayaga2 (986), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Is this a laughable attempt to market domestic beer to the domestic foreign beer consumer? Poorly conceived altogether. FROTHINGSLOSH (2037), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

They have very little to recommend them. I got this one in the 16 oz aluminum bottle. I was a bit suspicious of this packaging but in the end found it to be a bit on the cool side. It poured a medium golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was faint and vaguely sour. The flavor initially was very mild but smooth. Really there was little flavor other than a vague sour malt. Then I happened to let it warm up a bit. Ugh. As it warmed the adjuncts became more clear and the flavor became stronger and worse. I guess if all you were interested in was pounding it down cold you could get by, but if you let it warm ever so slightly it is only worthy of being pounded down your kitchen sink.
