| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Slightly more palatable than regular Bud, with a few extra points for aroma, taste, and overall. The green bottle is a typical AB cost-saving insult, proving that they will never learn, and all their talk about using the best ingredients is pure bullshit. Sorry, Augie, try again. thegreenrooster (1842), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 4, 2004 Pours yellow with a fizzy white head. No aroma and the taste is minimal. I guess your average beer drinker would suck this down in a hury. Bland, lifeless and WAY overpriced. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Bottled 4/22/2004. Golden body, white fizzy head. Sugar cookie-sweet aroma with some saaz. The flavor is awful, starting with sugary sweetness and continuing into weak grassy hops. I must emphasize the sweetness, it truly ruins what could otherwise be a decent Euro-lager. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jun 30, 2004 (Bottled on 1/June/04) A light colored beer with a light taste. The body is mainly sweet with a trace of hops. Maybe, this beer is really just an all malt Michelob. Wow, if this is the best AB’s brightest brewers can do, then AB really does suck. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jun 23, 2004 I can’t believe I paid $4.50 for a pint of this crap at a Schaumburg Flyers game. I just kind of did it without thinking. Anheuser proved their marketing genius by developing a product that they could sell alongside craft beers in liquor stores and at sports venues. On the label they advertise that the recipe was developed by top brewmasters from 10 different countries. Well, at least I didn’t buy a whole 6 pack, which would have cost even more! Somewhat faint, bland lager aroma. Clear gold in color with no head or lace and very little visible carbonation. Tastes like Bud, but with perhaps a little more of a bite. Better than Bud technically, but no more enjoyable to drink. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 14, 2004 This is a nice golden brew with a nice thick white head. It has a slightly bitter and malty flavor. The aroma is that of Heinekin. Goes down easy and has a refreshing aftertaste. Good brew and something i would buy again if I find it on sale, otherwise I wouldnt. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2004 Beer pous golden with a small completely diminishing egg white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy, bit of hay and light perfume. Flavor is likewise lightly bitter from the hops; not any malt detectable. This is a decent beer that goes down easy. It is not however worth paying any kind of premium for. Goodfella (60), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2004 Not a bad beer, it has some nice qualities such as a thick lasting head... yet starts to thin. the taste is similar to the overall bud products and that is not saying much. this is the best anheuser lager i have tasted, in ab’s respect.
