The fact that I was actually surprised that it sucked after reading the nice description leads me to trust my soft spot for efficient capitalism less than ever before. Life doesn’t have to be this bland, plain, safe, or normal. Decide what it is that you love, and love it because it is your taste. My friends say I’m conservative, but I can recognize the evils of homogenization when I see them. This beer represents what I stand against - averageness disguised as "World Select". Universal beer = average beer at best. Cornboy (418), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

Was not as terrible as expected, but close. Very much as everyone described, Skunkeiken. Wouldnt buy it again. Sancho (245), Da Bronx, New York, USA

Tastes like the bastard child of Bud light And Henieken. Seems like they skunked it on purpose. i dont want or need to pay for this nonsense. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 16, 2004 Pale golden color. Tiny quickly diminishing coarse white head with a little lacing. Being that this beer is fresh and not imported, there is no excuse for the tell-tale Heineken skunk and flavor. Just a blatant attempt at drawing in customers who have been led to beleive that Heineken is a "world class" lager and therefore any beer that smells and tastes like it is also in that category. No, it is not better than Bud. I can drink Bud. Cool loooking bottle, disappointing beer. IslandHaole (1035), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 14, 2004 Clear golden with a trace of a white head ringing the glass. Mild sweet malty scent with fruity tones. A sweet adjunct flavor, some trce bitterness but still nothing exciting. Much better than Bud, but what isn’t? Smells like Lager, but looks like treacle, with no head. Crisp, but with some friendly malty flavour. Nice in the mouth, with a medium finish, which is pleasantly set with some fruit and syrup. Almost a Vienna. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 12, 2004 This is the first time I have paid my own money for an A-B beer in living memory. Whoever these top brewmasters from around the world are, they obviously spent countless hours and spared no expense...coming up with the name. The beer is below average, which is the highest praise I have ever given a macro. Pours a clear and bubbly gold color with a thin white head and little lacing. Mild hops aroma. Light and crisp with a weak hops flavor and maybe even some nuttyness. The finish is thin and lightly bitter, and it seems they are hoping for the Pilsner Urquell skunk after this sits on the shelves in the green bottle for awhile. Luckily I got a fresh bottle. Satisfied my curiosity but I won’t ever get it again.
