Color is a medium gold. Well balanced flavor between the malt and hops. Bitter and dry finish that leaves the mouth clean. Well, it is better than regular Budweiser. It had a very nice looking bottle, and it was strategically placed next to heineken. We I got home I was suprised to find it had a very nice aroma, and very smooth going down. It tasted a lot like Heineken, but not as bitter aftertaste. I was surprised to find a nice lager coming from Anheuser-Busch. Not my favorite beer, but drinkable. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA

I am convinced that all they did was run lines from the Bud kegs to the green tap. This stuff starts with a very light hops and malt scent. The flavor has lots of corn and a little sweetness. I would be hard pressed to say this is much different from most macro lagers. Don’t waste your money on this overrated swill. I could barely finish my glass. bigdogbrewing (9), Delaware, Ohio, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 10, 2004 Rating this as an american lager. Not
my style preference, but was given a bottle to evaluate. Skunked! Probably on purpose to compete with Heineken in a green bottle. Some slight vegetable notes like celery or even beets from the sulfides in the nose. (acceptable for style) Appearance is bright and clean, pale straw color, no head retention no lace (again ok for stlye). Flavor: low malt, but what is there is grainy. Low hop flavor and low bitterness. Just enough bitterness to make it finish clean and dry. No lingering bitterness. All ok for style but not my preference. Beer is refreshing and thin. Carbonation is high and sharp and prickly on the tongue. Overall I am not impressed. Its just another beer. Albeit it is a good example of the style, but just not my preference of beer. Beer is clean and refreshing. No significant off flavors. I fault this beer for the skunked nose which turns me off! I am convinced it is done on purpose to compete with Heineken. I'm diggin' it ! CapFlu (3494), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Admitting that over ten brewmasters developed this beer is like Yugo revealing that it took more than one stylist to give its car its great look? This beer pours a medium, white head and a clear gold body. Skunked nose. Flavour is thin, uncomplex with hints of malt. Underwhelming beer from the King of Marketing?
