Rich, dark brown beer with a lush and frothy beige head. Licorice whip and sweet coffee in the nose, notes of tootsie-roll and sasparilla. Well-rounded sweetness and clean bitterness, pretty well balanced with good body and somewhat chocolatey backdrop. Soft carbonation and a creamy impression, with tinges of roast coffee and anise, finishing with a bit of alcohol warmth. Tasty and easily likable.

Bottle. A light alcoholic aroma, nice dark malt, brown sugar and a soft touch of fruit. The head is medium large, beige and creamy-foamy with a long duration. The body is dark red. The taste is quite bitter and very mouth filling. The body is very creamy, rather heavy and with a flat carbonation. The finish is a little bit like medicine because of the bitter touch in the end. A nice one.
