A dark amber/mahogany coloured beer with a whitish loosish head. Very Belgian and has dubbelish qualities without the strength. Malty, with bready, fruity and raisin notes in the nose and mouth. A nice beer which could do with more oomph in both the body and strength. Fruitiness seems s bit forced. bobinlondon (842), Harrow, Greater London, England

Quite lively with a dense off white head (no sparkler). Drinks like a strong english dark mild but with a hoppier finish. Very pleasant. Fin (3421), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Pours mid-dark brown not too much of a head. Taste is ok but not earth shattering, quite malty and with some dark sugars, maybe like Tom I should have had without the sprinkler, but it was fine. Aroma is sweet dark and chocolate malts, candy suagr and typically belgiun however perhaps some english grassy hop in there? Taste is a similar beast and without the sparkler is very drinkable indeed. Very tasty and intresting to get such a beer on cask.
