Bottle @ Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest. Pale gold with a short lived white head. Nose of pear juice, citrus, hop and malt with some wheaty notes. Taste is much the same with a slight creamy mouthfeel. Not the greatest.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest. Pale lager looks with a slight white head. Metallic, cardboard, slight malt, just a lick of alcohol but otherwise it is well hidden. Next!

Bottle (750ml). Shared with chris_o, mes_and_sim, harrisoni, reakt and duff - via harrisoni. Pale clear bubbly gold, quick-diminishing white head. Light aroma, I picked up papery diacetyl - it’s still quite sweet, odd weak dry spicy yeast, fairly dead floral hops. The taste served a little better, sweet grainy malt, light yeast/hops but the primary character was mild barnyard funk. Weirdly thick body, syrupy, almost hard to fire down - not bad, not sure what it wants to be.

Bottle from Auchan, Calais, drunk at Chris_o’s HogTownHarry meet up. Gold beer with thick white head. Bit of pukey lagery malt on aroma. OK in mouth, but pukey too. Pretty bad.

[Bottled] Golden colour. Good head retention. Juniper nose, big on flowers and tidbits. Nice. Tidbits and hop flowers in flavour, there is also vanilla. Medium body. Maltiness is pretty solid.
