| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 31, 2009 This wasn’t very good. Vegetal flavors, lightly frothy, probably cannot be considered a barleywine in the sense that most beer drinkers would understand it. Bottle shared at RBSG 2009 grand tasting. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 3, 2009 Bottle shared at Butter’s Big Cellar Blowout. Clear applejuice pour with thin ring of white head. Nose is weak corn adjunct and simple syrup. Syrupy sweet finish with a semi-bitter hop twinge.
