Funny enough, I didn’t remember having it after I’ve seen the empty bottle near the end of the tasting. Definitely not a thing to brag about. Murky orange colour. Malt, some soy sauce and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty taste, with some eggs, bad graininess and alcohol. I really didn’t like it all that much it seems, which would explain why I chose to forget about it. ekstedt (2446), Göteborg, Sweden

Fruity and nutty with some herbal hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Nicely balanced. Perhaps not the most complex BW out there, but strangely underrated. cgarvieuk (4207), Edinburgh, Scotland

Golden amber body with a small white head. (3+) Sweet malt aroma, boozy accents. Light underlying fruit. Similar flavour, sweet malt foundation, light caramel notes and hints of sugars? Smooth average plus palate (3+) Decent, but a fairly mildly flavoured take on the style. Very surprised to see such low scoring reviews of this. Poured amber in color with a large, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malts, funk, herbs, vegetables, and hops. Light to medium body. Thin, watery texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, nasty finish. I cannot believe I paid $25 for this awful beer. ironchefscott (342), portland, Oregon, USA

It is an ok barleywine and just kinda washed out and does not have the malt concentration that defines a good barley wine to me....nothing special.....but nice to try
