| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Easiest way to sum this up is a general lager with a bit of honey. Aroma is a sweet hint of honey, appearence amber with white head. Flavour profile is woody sweetness with almost a hint of american oak!! There is not a lot of bitterness here and mouthfeel is very coarse and finish is a bit short. SorenE (122), , New Zealand
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 23, 2009 not much going on here but pretty clean. the little flavor and aroma is mainly malt with the faintest hint of the manuka honey. slightly oxidized was this one. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Not bad this. Honey is quite pronounced in the aromas (dark honey of the non-industrial variety) yet shows good subtly as well. Unfortunately the palate is a bit of a non event; bland lager-ish style but the flavours are suprisingly Asahi-liek dry. Still, I think it plays better than the percentile suggests. nate2g (1132), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Bottle. Golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of grain, grass and honey. Light bodied. Moderate bitterness. It’s just like most mainstream lagers. DuffMan (2770), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Pours a deep golden with a moderate white head that collapses to a thin ring. Slightly toasty grainy aroma and flavour with soft sweet honey notes, with subtle floral perfume essence. Finish is short and dry with minimal bitterness. Decent, but nothing especially exciting. I’m happy that they didn’t allow the honey accents to kill this beer with sweetness, as so often seems to happen in North American honey lagers. donfardz64 (427), Wellington, New Zealand
