(Bottled) Deep aged white wine color with no head. Pear-cidery, slightly sweet, white-wiineous aroma. Flaovr of honey, some alcohol, grapes, hints of oak. Quite full-bodied with no carbonation. A pleasant substitute for sweet, aged dessert wine - but nothing to do with beer.

(Bottle) Darkish white wine colour. Honey in somewhat sweet nose. Bit like sweetened white port wine taste. Quite nice.

Bottled. Pale transparent amber colour. Roses, canned pears and honey aroma and gently vineous. Nice blend of honey and subtle vineousness along with oaky vanilla notes makes this a very clean table mead. Good stuff!

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 14 Sep 2007) Golden yellow colour, no head. Sourish nose with notes of dry sherry, oak, ripe green apples and a hint of dissolvent. Fruity, slightly sourish notes of honey, ripe apples and berries (cranberries?). Smooth and spicy with balanced sweetness. Leaning slightly in the sherry direction. Actually my first taste of some real mead, and I was impressed. There will be more of this.

Pure gold. Nice aroma, sweet, with light honey, ripe apples, sweet wood. Medium body, then honey flavor with the right sweetness, and just a touch of acidity and citrus to balance it. Excellent!

Bottled. A golden mead with no head. The aroma is sweet and no wonder dominated by honey. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of honey, leading to a dry woody finish.

Bottle. Clear golden with no head. Intense honey aroma. Medium body, sweetish but never sticky flower accents. Warming alcoholic finish. Good but not overly refined. 190908
