Beautiful copper color. Very sweet aroma, liquor, honey, some alcohol, light wood and leather. Very sweet honey flavor, syrupy, warming; there are traces of nuts and light raisins. Sweet and alcoholic final. Very good.

Orange colored with vanishing head. Sweetness with honey, slight raisins and thin berries, mild alcohol also comes up. Medium bodied, sticky palate. Flavor is overly sweet with cranberry palate, of course honey rules here. Mild and warming smooth alcohol in aftertaste.

0.5 l bottle, thanks jukkabro! Amber color. Sweet raisiny, almondy, honeyish, flowery and warming aroma with notes of sherry. Very sweet and warming flavor with raisins, cloudberry and strawberry jam. Sticky sweet, too sweet in fact. Tastes somewhat like cream sherry.

Bottle brown, 250 ml
Appearance: Pours perfectly clear, orangy golden body, viscosity is quite high, the mead is leaves marks on the glass wall.
Aroma: Very strong, sweet aroma of honey comes at first together with fructosis and natural sweetness. Very fruity - spicy. Strawberry, wildberry, some spices, notes of white and green pepper, some herbs like mint. Generally the aroma is definitely more sweet, honey based and more spicy than the aroma of ’Czworniak Korzenny’.
Flavour: Very strong, sweet honey domination being spiced up with quite high alcohol content as for a Mead (16% abv) and strong spices, kind of peppery, mint and herbs. Viscosity is also quite strong. Finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is sticky sweet, no carbonation, finish feel is much more sweet than the one of ’Czworniak Korzenny’, sticky and moderately alcoholic.

A very good mead from Lublin. This is a Dwojniak, which means it has a very high ABV (16% here) and a strong honey flavour. Sweet, but naturally and not too much. Very smooth, alcohol well hidden.
