Bottle: Dark bourbon color, thick legs. Nose of bright varnished wood and thick sundried honey. Caramelized and light soy notes. Some more sweet floral notes and an overwhelming amount of umami and honey. The flavor is sweet and chewy, strong and very oxidized and sherryish. Finishes long and drawn out. Interesting mead, complex but not incredibly balanced. Hot and sweet. Yum.

Bottle pours out a clear orange/amber no head. Sweet aroma of honey??? O ya of course so tasty. Nice thick legs some Alcohol burn on this one. Pretty good but not as good as the other mead Spółdzielnia Pszczelarska Apis makes.

This is an extremely sweet mead, this recipe used more honey than water in comparison to most meads. The honey is the first flavor and is dominate throughout the entire rating. There is some tastes of spices and fruits. but the honey is the real winner. the alcohol is even constant without a big punch. The is a keeper.

The aroma has honey, spices, alcohol, oak, and berries. The appearance is is dark with an orange-red color. The flavor is very sweet with all the elements from the aroma and an alcohol kick. The palate is smooth. Overall a great mead.

Sample from 50 cL bottle. Pours orange golden. Honey, spicy and liqourice aroma, faint alcohol note. Flavour is sweet honey with a overall sweet and soft mouthfeel. Ends very sweet and soft.

Shared a bit with fordest. I smelled the vinegar and decided this was going to be bad but was surprised by the sweet honey taste.
