Thanks to drewbeerme for sharing this. Sticky amber and orange. Aroma of honey, oak, and red and purple fruit. Flavor is sweet and floral that is so sweet and oaky and a little boozy but very well balanced. Syrupy medium body. Very nice.

Bottled, lagered about 1 year. Wonderful water melon, honey and sugar aroma. Taste very sticky, with an oily finish. Taste of cognac, lemon, very cool! Damn good.

Bottle brown, 250 ml
Appearance: Pours plum - reddish to rose - like colour with some shades of burned orange in the body hue, body hue is light to medium, body is average to thick in its density, clear and more towards oilyness than water, what is interesting there is a kind of oily and sticky sweet lacing when you move the liquid through the higher sided of the tulip glass.
Aroma: Aroma is stronger in alcohol, richer from the previously rated mead ’Trojniak Piastowski’ and with some truffle notes. Strawberry and wildberry, natural honey, more aromatic and intense rosy and generally flowery, cognac notes, burned sugar, plum, hints of red winegrapes and wine, hints of mple syrup, raisin, refreshing.
Flavour: Alcohol is well hidden as for 16%, drinkable, sweet, perfect for a dessert, sticky nice palate and oily texture, fresh and refreshing fruityness, strawberries, pulm, wildberries, red wine, cognac, nice natural mead, crispy, citrusy notes (lemon), burned sugar, brown sugar, truffle.
Palate: Body towards full, texture is syrupy, sweet, sticky on palate, finish feel is sweet, flowery, fruity and aromatic, lightly alcoholic.

Bottle from Sam’s, Chicago. Poured clear dark copper color with good legs. Heavy woody fruity honey and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a thick smooth texture. Medium to heavy dark fruit honey flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Standout mead.

(bottle thanks OSLO) Pours dark amber. Aroma is strong with caramel, raisin, brown sugar, and honey. Strong alcohol is also present, and dominating as the mead warms. The taste is very nice, and alternates between honey. caramel, and raisin. On the finish is where there is just a slight hint of that blackcurrant juice. The mouthfeel is full, with the lingering finish of blackcurrant (which kind of tastes like Grape Dimetapp). This is really good.

[Bottle] Pours still golden-brown. Aroma is portlike with a lot of raisin, but also the obvious honey. The taste is very sweet, and very hot on the alcohol, with really nice honey mixing with the raisin character and just a hint of fresh fruit in the finish. Thick mouthfeel with a long finish. A very enjoyable mead--my only complaint would be that the alcohol is a little too dominant at times.

Pale golden of color - no head. A nice aroma of honey, sherry and alcohol. A flavor of fruits, sweets, candy and honey.
