No 638 Rated 19 12 2008 Clay bottle, 750 ml, Appearance pours burned orange to rosy body as it is a mixture of raspberry squash and mead, perfectly clear in texture, not that sticky as Poltorak, reddish, viscosity is moderate, Aroma highly aromatic, especially raspberry at front, when you plongue deeper you can catch nice spicyness and fruityness (again raspberry) acompained with meady honey base and alcohol strenghtening the overall character and being absoluyely non offensive or even not high, slightly similar to Apis Poltorak Jadwiga but not to essential, medicinal scent, gently dry, dry and on the other hand very smooth, easily catchable notes of raspberry juice, really a winter warmer, it warms up your palate and even more honey sweet, awsome silky touches of suggary sticky honey and raspberry juice becoming present, fruity nose, syrupy sweetness on palate, cranberries and all spiced up and with non agressive but still present and very influenced alcohol, finish duration is long, pleasant, Palate body is full, texture is oily sticky, finish feel is sticky but dry what makes a great balnce, wonderful fruity nose at finish

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, no head. Aroma is herbal, honeyish, sugary and alcoholic with some slight fruity/berryish notes. Flavour is alcohol, stingy honey sweetness and a bit sappu. Rather sweet.

(Bottled). Hazy orange, no head. Honey, dark fruits and alcohol in the nose. Sweet honeyish, sugary but also kind of bitter and alcoholic. Aftertaste is honey-sugary. Good.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Pale amber colour with no head. Completely still. Fruity, spicy nose with herbs, spices and berries (cherries?). Fruity, sweet taste with notes of honey, spices and herbs. Full bodied, smooth and warming mouthfeel. Stunning balance with alcohol firmly in the background (but beware, it’s 16%). Lovely stuff!

(Bottled) Clear whisky-amber with no head. Aroma of fermented fruit, honey, burned sugar, and some alcohol. Very sweet, honeyish, slightly alcoholic flavor with strawberries, but not that much complexity. Thick and syrupy, warming palate with no carbonation. Drinkable, but simple and sweet.
