Bottled at RBESG 2007. A golden mead with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of honey and rosehips. The flavor is very sweet with notes of honey, pollen, and rosehips. The alcohol warm the chest. Another nice mead from Apis.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear warm orange with fat liquid laces. Intense aroma of caramel, flowers and honey. Quite full-bodied, very spicy with fat honey and sherry notes. Extremely delicious. 190908

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Deep golden. Sweet vinous and full bodied. Lots of honey of course, but also bees wax. Warming and powerful, soft and potent.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, no head. Aroma is herbal, honeyish, sugary and alcoholic with some slight fruity/berryish notes. Flavour is alcohol, stingy honey sweetness and a bit sappu. Rather sweet.

(Bottled). Hazy orange, no head. Honey, dark fruits and alcohol in the nose. Sweet honeyish, sugary but also kind of bitter and alcoholic. Aftertaste is honey-sugary. Good.

A Sim rate (RBESG tasting): Smells like hard liquor cherries.. like that stuff my mum brought back from Poland. Brandy? Tastes medicinal - sweet and syrupy. Nothing at all like beer.

Massive legs mount the unclear amber pour. Aromatic and alcoholic offering, of course honeyed, but never syrupy. Still, huge concentration in mouth with expanding flavours despite the apparently large water proportions. Strong and long finish with lots of floral nuances. Sticky, sweet yet good stuff.
