It tastes like honey...only sweeter (goodness, is that possible?). Maybe if I had some more meads, I’d be able to say whether this is average, above average, or below. tjthresh (1780), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Pours amber brown with some crazy legs. Aroma of berries and butter rum chewy candy. The butter rum character appears in the flavor as well. Very creamy palate. Incredible. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóđveldiđBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Pour is orange amber, completely still. Aroma is butterscotch rum. Some floral honey in the nose as well. Taste is initially more of the butter scotch, though it eases nicely into the honey and has a nice long finish. The body is syrupy and sweet, without being cloying. I had never had anything that remotely tasted like this, and loved it. This was excellent, the one I went back to for sipping until the cab came to get me. I would enjoy this like a fine port. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Bottle at RBESG. Lovely dark red amber colour. Toffee and alcohol nose. Incredibly sweet flavour with bags of fruit and honey. Just a little too sweet for me. Not at all cloying however. Lovely mouthfeel. A fantastic mead.
