Commercial Description:
It has very rich specific fragrance due to the addition of raspberries and wild rose to nectar honey.

1 litre of Półtorak style mead contains 720 g of natural honey. By comparison, the Dwojniak style of mead contains 610g/L of honey; the Trojniak contains 420g/L and the Czworniak contains 320g/L.

Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is.

Bottle thanks to Sk8viking. Deep red - no head. Raisins, dried fruits, berries, honey - lots of honey, sweet, bread, light licorice. A thick liquid - sticks to the tongue for a long time after - smooth !! This it lovely.

Bottle. Dark red colour with a small white head good looking Mjød. The aroma is intense, smack in your face, heavy honey, fruit, berries, spices and alcohol. The taste is a thick mouthfull of honey, fruity, berries, spices and a nise alcohol burn. Full body with a sweet alcoholic finish. Great Mjød !!!

Bottle. Still, tawny coloured body. Interesting aroma - butterscotch, caramel, and molasses with varying levels of intensity. Very thick and rich - creamy, almost buttery palate and very thick in texture. Lots of butterscotch and caramel flavour with honey stickiness up front. It actually finishes reasonably cleanly too with minimal alcohol burn considering its strength. Really good but you really have to be in the mood for this stuff and I know I certainly wouldn’t be able to drink more than a couple of ounces of it at any given moment.

This is amazing. Incredibly powerful aroma of honey, fruit and flowers with just a hint of lambic-like barnyardiness. The flavor is very sweet and the texture is very rich, yet it somehow remains light on the tongue. Highly recommended.

Didn’t take much notes on this one. Overyly sweet alcoholised drink with lots of honey and a little fruity flavour. Some kind of honeyed Grand Marnier with a melted baklava or something. Way too sweet for me. Given all the praises it receives I hope to have another opportunity to try it and hopefully this next time before I lose speech capabilities. But as it stands right now I was almost jaded-wiga by it.

Bu au YeHa! 06. Rousse comme de Rhûm brun. Arome intense de miel sucré et d’alcool agréable. Goût super sucré mais très buvable, miel et alcool.

Pink golden body with great legs. Very sweet alcoholic scent. Viscous palate and thick, rich honey flavour. Very honey at the end.

Pours a beautiful honey brown. Has aromas of cognac, honey, and nuts. While the aroma makes this seem like the alcohol is going to hit you in the face, this actually doesn’t taste of alcohol or burn. This has a sweet, spicey, honey taste. Excellent.
