Commercial Description:
It has very rich specific fragrance due to the addition of raspberries and wild rose to nectar honey.

1 litre of Półtorak style mead contains 720 g of natural honey. By comparison, the Dwojniak style of mead contains 610g/L of honey; the Trojniak contains 420g/L and the Czworniak contains 320g/L.

Półtorak mead matures for several years to achieve full clarity. In time its rich aroma hides a high content of alcohol (16%) and acidity forming the finest liquor there is.

Bu au YeHa! 06. Rousse comme de Rhûm brun. Arome intense de miel sucré et d’alcool agréable. Goût super sucré mais très buvable, miel et alcool.

Pink golden body with great legs. Very sweet alcoholic scent. Viscous palate and thick, rich honey flavour. Very honey at the end.

Pours a beautiful honey brown. Has aromas of cognac, honey, and nuts. While the aroma makes this seem like the alcohol is going to hit you in the face, this actually doesn’t taste of alcohol or burn. This has a sweet, spicey, honey taste. Excellent.

Sampled at Low Countries RBM 2005.
Hazy orange golden, no head of course. Great fullness in the aroma, sharp and warming of honey, rosehip and flower. Sweet honey and berry flavor. Soft and smooth like a mofo with a nice candied surupy touch. Extremely complex despite the sweetness, man this is good shit! Of all the liquids I tasted during this Ratebeer gathering this one stood out as the best!! I fell very lucky to have a whole bottle more of this :-)

Bottle. Is it a port wine? Red brown with no head. Little too sweet maybe but it would be nice as a dessert. Some raisin. Quite heavy.

Bottle. Richly dark amber brown color. Beautiful port like aroma, cherry, raisins, and apricot aromas. Wonderfully sweet and warming with an oily palate. Thanks to Nuffield for this sample. Rating from 2004 notes.

Bottle at RBESG 2006. Mmmmmmmm... soooo smooth and delicious. Fruity and sweet, but not sickly. Just right.
