This type of mead is produced from nectar honey. 1 litre of mead contains 420 g of natural honey. Trójniak contains 13% of alcohol. The maturation period is 2 years. It has a winy moderately sweet flavour. Chokeberry juice and spices added during the fermentation process make the flavour one of its kind.

Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a glowing orangish body with nice legs. The aroma is very strong alcoholic honey. The flavor is pretty damn good honey, sweet and juicy. Nice. Very nice. The palate is sugary and damn good.

Thanks Dave. Pours clear orange tan with no head. Smells like the polish honey liqour Krupnik. Tastes like hard apple cider, very sweet, medium bodied. Nice.

pours an orangish bronze color w/ soem weak legs. Scent is reminiscent to krupnik. Very sweet smells a little hot w/ touches of sour cherries. Palate is well coated a touch light. Flavor is nice. Sweet honey some nice bitter fruit to offset and even it out.

Bottle. Clear amber body, still. Drippy lacing. Crystallized honey aroma with light berry. Simple clean powdered sugar honey with a bit of crystallized, condensed honey - some grapes in the finish.

750 ml Bottle. Got this at a Polish market in Schaumburg, IL. The label is green and black, and design is different, but the description on the back closely matches. So I can finally check off a commercial mead here. Pour is a nice honey gold, even close to a whiskey. Definitely a sweet honey color. And I kinda find the taste to my liking. The chokecherry juice gives a slightly bitter component to slightly match the honey sweetness. And any spices here are not overbearing. No sulfide or other processing traces. In fact, since I brought up the idea, it makes a real good whiskey mixer!

Gold in color and medicinal in smell. Some sweet fruity sensations on the tongue, but not nearly as pleasant as the other two I’ve had from this meadery.

Light gold color. Very thick with nice legs. Aroma of light apples and cardboard. The taste is vineous and slightly spicy. A hot alcoholic finish. Also hints of vanilla and cherries. Thanks hey_kevin.
