Bottle, 75 cl - Golden colored beer, barely any head. Aroma is very honey sweet with hints of martini rosso. Flavor is very sweet and tastes much like a white porter with strong notes of honey, herbs and hints of flowers. Very different compaired to other types of mead I’ve tried. Good to sip, but hard to drink lots of.

Sampled at the RBESG08 grand tasting. Clear golden. Vinous, fruity, with some vague honey notes and sherry. Medium bodied and smooth. Quite dry which is good i.m.o. Rated 8/3/8/4/15. Second rating from gnoff’s bottle.

Myślałem, że będzie lepiej ale w sumie nie najgorsze. Duża butelka to koszt około 17 pln. Smak dużo lepszy niż zapach. Ogólonie fajny miodowy trunek. Delikatny i ciut "gęsty". Ciekawe jak będzie w przypadku półtoraka :)

Bottled. Clear golden colour. Aroma from honey, oak and roses, Vineous flavour, and the sweetness is just in the background. Most prominent here is the elegant touch of roses(I guess this is what they refer to as herbs) and peary lemonade. This is a fantastic mead, not at all so sugary as its brothers. Incredibly well balanced without that sugary honey sweetness.

Clear golden, no head or carbonation; looks like apple juice. Sweet honey aroma with notes of oak and alcohol. Sticky sweet with harsh oak character and some odd flavours that makes me think of the Swedish soda pop "Trocadero"!

Bottled. Golden colour with a no foam. Sweet, peppery and a bit alcoholic aroma of honey, smoke, flowers, white sugar and cookies. Full, sweet flavour of honey, apricots, yellow plums and flowers. Amazingly well-hidden alcohol. Honey and orange-blossom and herbs in the long aftertaste. A really nice surprise, since I’m not a huge fan of sweet honey.
