Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malt aroma with licorice and a fruity touch. Sweet licorice flavour with a faint herbal note that might be the mint... it’s certainly not overdone

Tap @ the Apollo, Cph.
Pours nice black with slight brown edges. Fine, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma is light citric, roasted malts, chocolate and just a slight hint of mint. Medium carbonation, light mouthfeel - perhaps even thin, but that might be the mint. ’Cos it surely dominates the early stages, then chocolate and light roasted malts. Actually fits together okay without being cloying.

Draught. High creamy and long lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Choccolate coffee caramel cream aroma with a light sour note. Heavily carbonated peppermint choccolate flavor with a long aftertaste. Not as sweet as feered.

Draft. An opaque black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of pebermint as well as lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of pebermint, but also lighter notes of roasted malt and chocolate. A bit too much for me.

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pitch black with a creamy lasting brown head and lacings. Nose is soft and mildly roasted coffee and as the beer warms signs of mint comes through. Palate is velvetly soft and smooth. Chocolate and mild coffee. Very fine

On tap. Pours an almost opaque black with only a vague tint of orange and a dense and creamy beige nitro head leaving laces. Soft, lightly roasted aroma. Medium body, hard roasted malts but completely dominated by the peppermint. A little dark chocolate in the finish and also a little malt bitternes. Good fun. 071009
