On tap @ the brewpub in Copenhagen. Cloudy golden body with a white head. Aroma of bread and slightly spicy. Flavor is refreshing, light malty, some bitterness, a bit sweet. Refreshing but a bit anonymous.

On Tap at the Bryggeriet Apollo, Copenhagen 15/10/2007 A bonus trip to Denmark as my flight back from USA to England was cancelled resulting in me being rerouted from Chicago to Copenhagen! Some carbonation. Thick white head. Golden coloured and smooth on the palate with some bitterness and dryness in a crisp finish.

Had this yesterday at a table outside the pub. I don’t know what everyone else has been getting, but mine wasn’t very similar to a pilsner in any regard except I guess that they used a lager yeast on it. Had a medium head, no lace. Aroma was sweet malt. Flavor was sweet malt and undercarbonated. finish was malty and sweet.

Medium very white head. Hazy pale yellow body with vigourous carbonation. Light fruity grassy aroma with floral notes. Harmonic and delicate. Dry delicate mealy spicy grassy taste with straw and grain notes. Mid-bodied. Dusty oily mouthfeel. Dry floral grassy mealy aftertaste. Nice. Really refreshing and full of taste. (0.2l sampler at Flakhaven, Odense.)

In the Herning Brewpub. It’s hazy, light-golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of butterscotch and grain. The flavour has notes of butterscotch, grain and slightly dry citrus. It’s very uncomplicated and OK.
