f351c4v (404), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 25, 2009 Cask @ Camp Hill. Pours an amber color with a thick, white head. Sweet malt aroma, some caramel. Slick, carbonated body, hints of maple and old coffee or tea. Not overly impressive. Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 22, 2009 not a bad amber ale, has a faint aroma of hops, taste is dry, a hint of spice and hops. tronraner (1905), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Feb 16, 2009 On cask at the Camp Hill location. Pours hazy amber color with fluffy beige head. The aroma is caramel, butterscotch, wood, a hint of toffee, and just a touch of spicy hops. The flavor is caramel and butter with a rather strong hop bitterness. Not much hop flavor though. Wood and an odd burnt sourness come out in the finish. A bit English in mindset, but some of those qualities come from the cask, I’m sure. Drinkable, though.
