I could tell that this one’s been around for a while by the extreme lack of carbonation. For a second, I really thought that I was drinking sweetened iced tea. kramer (2484), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2006 On tap at brewpub (Harrisburg). Light orange/copper body with a small off-white head, slightly hazy. Very fruity aroma, with caramel and toffee and light alcohol. Very sweet malty flavor, but with lots of alcohol on the finish. Medium bodied, nice mouthfeel up front, but a little fizzy on the tongue in the back end. Not the most impressive Maibock, and from the commercial description it looks like the excessive sweetness is their aim so I guess it’s just not the beer for me. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA

Fruity-yeast, near belgian aroma. Bready flavor, like a good hearty seedy triangle roll. Medium bodied, honeyish finish. smooth-dough. OK! desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Loads of sweetness right off the bat, followed by warming alcohol. Mild German hoppiness. Finishes too hot in the alcohol department. Dickinsonbeer (3497), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2005 A little too sweet and cloying for my liking. You can also notice the alcohol at the end. Needs a bigger body and more mouthfeel from more munich malts and the like. Other than that it starts off pretty good but finishes a bit bland. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA
