I had this over the summer when I first went to thier abbey bar upstairs. Celtic red was a nice lgiiht bodied amber ale, although I couldtn see anything resembling a dubble as it is listed here- which Im assuming is a mistake. Mostly jsut a plain amber wiht some sweet caramel malts and light bitterness. Easy drinking.

Draft at Appalachian BC. large off-white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, fine-very large bubbles, sparse lacing, transparent, minimal carbonation, and a orange gold hue. Malty, spicy and clove aroma. Bitter, malty and hoppy flavor. Not impressed. Smooth mouthfeel.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a large sized head of foamy of unnoted size mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and golden red in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malty dirty socks. Its mouth feel is initially slightly tingly thick and malt with a slightly tingly palate and a Irish red malt hop aftertaste. Its flavor contained Irish red malty notes.
